Overview[edit]

Nightmare is the name of the Gacha system in Nightbringer. There are three standard pools to "summon" in: Chapter A, Chapter M, and Chapter G. There are also Event Nightmares that are available for a limited amount of time.

Summoning Costs[edit]

To summon in Chapter A, Chapter M, or an Event Nightmare, the cost is either 30 Devil Points or 1 Demon Voucher to summon one time. To summon ten times at once, the cost is either 270 Devil Points or 10 Demon Vouchers.

There are also UR+ Demon Vouchers that guarantee summoning an available UR+ card, UR Demon Vouchers that guarantee summoning a UR Card, and SSR or Higher Demon Vouchers that guarantee summoning an SSR or higher rarity card.

Chapter G costs 3,000 Grimm to summon one time, or 27,000 Grimm to summon ten times at once.

Free Summons[edit]

A free summon is available once every 48 hours in Chapters A and M, and one once every 24 hours in Chapter G.

For VIP members, these times are halved to once every 24 hours in Chapters A and M, and once every 12 hours in Chapter G.

8. Bonuses Event Nightmares released before February 2024 included bonuses that could be earned based on the number of times summoned. These bonuses were replaced in February 2024 with the Devildom Exchange system.

9. Summon x1

Summon a single time.

10. Summon x10

Summon ten times at once. When performing a summon x10 in either Chapter A, Chapter M, or an Event Nightmare, you are guaranteed at least one SSR or higher card.
The summon odds themselves do not change, but if no SSR or higher cards are initially summoned, one of the ten lower rarity results will randomly change to an SSR or higher card.

Duplicate Card Summons[edit]

If a summoning result is a card that the player already owns, that card's skill level will increase by one. If a duplicate card is already at its maximum skill level (Lv. 5), the card will automatically be converted into Raven.

Raven Conversions[edit]

When summoning a duplicate card at maximum skill level, the amount of Raven the card converts into varies depending on the card's rarity.

UR/UR+ 5
SSR 4
SR 3
R 2
