That night, MC stops by Belphegor's and Beelzebub's room. Belphie is not pleased with that, and refuses to go to sleep. He claims there is nothing going on and that he doesn't feel like he's been having nightmares; it'd be a waste too if he went to sleep when MC is visiting them. Eventually, Belphie falls asleep and starts moaning in his sleep again.

As Belphegor starts moaning in his sleep again, Beelzebub and MC discuss how to approach this, and decide that waking him up is pointless as he doesn't remember those dreams anyway. Instead, they come to the conclusion that asking him questions in his sleep would be better, though that might not bring any results either. Still, Beel inquires as to why Belphie is upset, and Belphie responds to him: he complains that Beel is eating too much, and that he is too close to MC.

Belphegor sleep talks that it's HIS custard, and that Beelzebub always eats his food. Beel apologizes, even if Belphegor can't hear him. Belphegor also shouts at Beelzebub in his sleep to keep his hands off MC, as MC is his. Beelzebub is sad about the fact that Belphegor is unhappy with him and never told him, and decides to try to stay away from Belphegor's food. He won't stay away from MC, however. Beelzebub's relieved that it wasn't as serious as he feared, though, as he wants Belphegor to be happy. Belphegor then murmurs that he loves Beelzebub. In the morning, Belphegor wakes up first and notices that this time Beelzebub is moaning in his sleep about being hungry, but also that MC is his, and Belphegor cannot have them. Belphegor comes to the conclusion that they'll have to talk once he's awake.
