"Master and apprentice, huh?!"
In an alternative universe, MC is the apprentice of Lucifer, the greatest necromancer of all time. Lucifer asks MC if they've seen the devil shark fangs. He sighs while telling them they need to return items to their proper place after using them. Lucifer wants MC's assistance performing a rite that will bring forth a spirit from the spirit world. He needs them to help him gather missing items for the rite. They go to a forest looking for two items: the juice of a corrupted apple and the nectar of an envious queen. Lucifer urges them to stick together.

After wandering the forest for a while, Lucifer comments that finding the nectar of an envious queen was easy. However the corrupted apple eludes them. MC can ask him about corrupted apples, which Lucifer explains are inconspicuous, hard to spot, and have a sweet, cloying smell. When he's about to tell MC the most significant characteristic, they wander off. Lucifer follows, discovering that a corrupted apple lured MC. He tells them they corrupt people and make it difficult to control their desires. He silences its effect with his magic so it's safe to handle. He expresses relief that MC is all right and they return to their workshop.

Lucifer explains the steps of the rite to MC. They need to mix the corrupted apple juice with the nectar, add some of one's blood, and use the mixture to draw the magic circle, which will allow them to call forth a powerful spirit. Lucifer recalls how the corrupted apple called out to MC and asks what they saw, which they can respond with either "the two of us, alone in our own world" or "the day I surpass you." Lucifer adds his blood to the mixture and once it froths, he begins to draw the magic circle. He asks MC to tend to the other preparations. With everything ready for the rite, Lucifer chants the incantation to call forth the spirit.

"It's a cute place, isn't it?"
Lucifer tells MC that the rite will cause dead spirits to burst from the other side. He needs MC to keep them at bay while he continues chanting the spell, but warns them to not smudge the lines of the magic circle. MC can either use their magic to hold the spirits back, or use holy water. Once the spirits back off, the powerful spirit emerges, which Lucifer refers to as Cerberus. MC panics, but Lucifer remains calm. He explains that Cerberus was once his pet who passed away before he could master necromancy. Lucifer asks MC if they would like to touch Cerberus, which they can either pet him or pet Lucifer. Lucifer summoned Cerberus so he could introduce him to MC. He's happy that Cerberus has taken a liking to MC, and thinks the three of them living together wouldn't be such a bad idea.
