"Isn't sand gold just small..."
Mammon comes to MC's room in the House of Lamentation demanding that they come with him to the desert right now. He explains that there's a sand gold rush happening and he has a map that shows the best spots for it. MC can either be excited or uncertain, but Mammon assures them that the sand gold rush is a real thing and tells them to get ready.

"We can just get a bunch, then."
There are many other demons in the desert too for the sand gold rush and Mammon notes that it feels like a festival because there are stalls set up nearby as well. Mammon and MC take a look around and get to try some unique food, such as a blazing cactus smoothie or a fading light fava bean croquette. Mammon is also interested in looking for rare items in the hopes that he'll find something being sold for cheap.

"We'll make a killing, so just..."
Next, Mammon and MC look at all the souvenirs being sold, most of which are sparkly. Mammon picks out a glass bottle and is excited when he learns it's a rare item that's supposed to draw sand gold to it. Now that they have the special tool, the two of them head to the desert, but to Mammon's surprise, there is a sandstorm.

"That's what they call a flag..."
Mammon is annoyed by the sandstorm because it's making it impossible to find any sand gold. He asks another demon what's going on and reports back to MC. As it turns out, in this area, when sandstorms occur, they unearth the sand gold meaning that anyone who wants some has to go into the storm. Mammon asks MC if they want to try and MC says yes, so they make their attempt.
They can try using the bottle on its own or MC can blow the storm away with magic first. If MC uses magic, they are able to collect a lot of gold, so Mammon offers to buy them something and happily says they should buy all the souvenirs they can carry. However, if they don't get rid of the storm first, the bottle ends up sucking in all the regular sand too, so Mammon gives up and tells MC that they should just have fun around town instead.
