Story Summary
Note: This Devilgram's story content is identical in both "Obey Me!" and "Nightbringer."

"Mammon's always Mammon."
This story takes place in an alternate universe where Mammon is a prince of a kingdom and MC is his knight. MC catches Mammon sneaking out of his room because he doesn’t want to study. Mammon runs off, and MC follows him outside. MC demands he comes back, but he refuses. Suddenly, a flyer blows by with a bounty for slaying a dragon. Mammon thinks that if he slays the dragon, the kingdom will see his true strength. MC can either agree, or refuse to allow him. If they refuse, Mammon convinces them that he's trained hard for this moment. He promises to protect MC, or allows MC to protect him if they ask.

In the forest, Mammon explains that this area is home to many dangerous monsters. Despite this, they decide to press on. Mammon and MC defeat every monster in the area. The road splits in two, and MC can use magic or track footprints to decide which way to go. Suddenly, Mammon detects a monster. A creature with a bomb flower on its head jumps out, and MC can either create a magic force field or direct Mammon to knock the bombs back with his sword. The monster runs off, and the two continue to the dragon's lair.

Mammon and MC find a suspicious cave. They hear a roar from inside and decide to investigate. Inside, Mammon thinks the lack of monsters is due to something scary inside. Mammon spots the dragon, But MC stops him when they realize it isn't attacking them. Either MC casts a spell to communicate with the dragon, or the dragon casts a translating spell on them. The dragon says it was the companion of the country's first king, and wants to be Mammon’s adventuring partner. Mammon refuses since MC is his partner, but offers to be friends. The dragon gives Mammon a fang as a sign of friendship.

Back at the castle, Mammon admires the fang. With it, he'll be seen by the kingdom as a powerful prince and won’t have to study anymore. MC tells Mammon he needs to keep studying, and he begrudgingly agrees for the good of the kingdom. Mammon is excited that he's the reincarnation of the first ruler who defeated the demon king. He thanks MC and says he'll always keep them by his side. They can either shake his hand, or kiss him. If they kiss, Mammon says their partnership runs deeper and confesses his love. If they shake hands, the dragon appears at his window at a miniature size. Mammon decides to let it live in the castle with him.
