"Ain't that super serious?!"
The story begins in an alternate reality where Beelzebub and MC are looking for rations in a destroyed, post-apocalyptic city. Beel uses his scouter to detect food nearby. But when the two arrive, the place has been picked clean. Beel is worried that he's starving when suddenly they hear a child calling for help. It's Luke, who is being chased by a gang for his food.

Beelzebub says that stealing food is unforgivable and wants to help, but is worried because he's so hungry. MC can either encourage Beel, or give him their last piece of food. With a bit of strength restored, he lands a sneak attack by jumping off a nearby building and landing in between Luke and the thieves.

Beelzebub's plan to scare the thieves away works. Luke thanks Beel for saving him, calling him a hero. Beel immediately passes out from hunger, making Luke think Beel injured himself. But when MC explains it's because of hunger, Luke decides to share his food with them. The three introduce themselves before parting ways. Afterwards, Beel and MC decide to go somewhere and eat a proper meal.

Beelzebub and MC find a secluded area to eat their food. Beel is extremely happy that they can finally eat their fill while still having food left over. Beel hears a noise in the bushes, but it's just a stray kitten. Beel feels bad for it, and gives it some tuna before it runs away to its mother. He laments that it must be nice to have a family; he never knew his parents, and was all alone until he met MC. He says he'd like to make a family with them someday, and MC has an option to either hug or kiss him as a promise.
