Story Summary

"You slipped away, how sneaky..."
During Hyakki Yako in Moryo Town, Leviathan pulls MC aside and asks them to sneak off with him in secret. When they are alone, Leviathan asks MC if they want to go somewhere with him for a break. He talks about a beach up ahead which is supposed to have a nice view and a "really great atmosphere for a date." He then becomes really flustered when he realizes how obvious it is that he researched popular date spots before asking. MC agrees, and as they make their way to the place, Leviathan shyly asks if they can hold hands.

"Ooh, what a nice date spot!"
MC and Leviathan arrive at the beach, and Leviathan is really happy to see the ocean, saying that it makes him feel "calm and at peace." However, he soon realizes that the place is packed with "normie couples," which he wasn't expecting. He notes that maybe he isn't ready to hang out in such a place, but decides to try to get over his discomfort so he can have some time with MC. As they look around for a place to sit down, Leviathan starts mocking the cliché things that "normie couples" say to each other, like saying their partner is more beautiful than the ocean. At the same time, however, he admits that he is jealous of them. MC tells Leviathan that he is more beautiful than the ocean, and he is caught off guard. He goes into a mild panic, but ultimately gathers the courage to return the compliment.

"I'd like to listen to the waves..."
After sitting down at the beach for a while, Leviathan remarks that he is not sure what to do, because he is not used to places like this. He asks MC what they want to do, and MC asks him to move a little closer. He does so, with some awkwardness. He then tells MC that there is something he's been wanting to ask them: whether they ever feel a "nervous excitement," like "butterflies in your stomach" when they are with him. MC tells him that's how they feel right now, and he is relieved to hear that he's not the only one. He then tells MC he still thinks there are too many people at the beach, and he feels watched, which makes it hard to relax. He asks MC if they can go someplace else, where they can "actually be alone."

"You can walk on water, wow!"
Leviathan explains to MC how each of their yokai costumes can do something special that fits its theme, and his costume allows him to walk on water. The effect that is also extended to whoever is within three feet of him. He asks MC if they would like to head out onto the water together, where no one else is going to be around. They proceed to go onto the water, and head far away from the shore. When they get there, they sit down and talk. Leviathan mentions how he made lots of wishes during Hyakki Yako, but he only needs one to come true: that he and MC would be together forever. He then asks MC if they want to kiss. When MC agrees, he kisses them twice. He then asks MC if they want to keep going, so that he can "show them how much he loves them."
