Overview[edit]

Gold Hellfire Newt Syrup is an expensive vanity item modeled after a fictional remedy from the The Tale of the Seven Lords story universe, as explained by Leviathan in Lesson 21-9 (OM). It is made using Hellfire Newts, which are newts that were consumed by fire in the Human World and later reincarnated in the Devildom. The syrup is a potent aphrodisiac when consumed by demons, but this heightened sexual desire is only felt towards humans for reasons unknown.

The effect wears off in a few days for most demons, but in some cases, the effect persists for over two hundred years. If a demon has a pact with a human, the effect can be neutralized by the demon carrying out an order issued by the human they have a pact with.(source?)

A syrup imitating the Gold Hellfire Newt Syrup was used at Mixx Garden during an Obey Me! collaboration event in 2022.

Story[edit]

Main Story and Events[edit]

In Lesson 21-9 (OM), Leviathan had purchased a bottle of Gold Hellfire Newt Syrup off Akuzon because it was designed to be similar to a secret remedy of The Tale of the Seven Lords' Dragaul folk known as "dragon fog." However, Mammon had taken the syrup and used it as a "secret ingredient" in the soup everyone had for dinner.

Because a demon with a pact can have the effects nullified in they obey an order from their human, MC was able to cure the brothers one by one by giving each of them an order. The orders given vary depending on choices made by the player.(source?)
