"That cold attitude is cool ♡"

Set in an alternate universe, MC is given a flashback of their previous encounter and failed apprehension of the infamous Phantom Thief, Belphegor. Diavolo's voice pulls MC back to the present, where he reminds them of their goal. Diavolo had hired MC to be his private detective since the police were unsuccessful in preventing a previous burglary. He trusts MC from the rumors that they had once cornered Phantom Thief B, and hands MC a calling card signed by the thief himself.

"I'd like to take a look as well."

Diavolo informs MC that Phantom Thief B plans to target his coat next. He mentions that his butler, Barbatos usually oversees his collection and he plans to introduce him to MC before Phantom Thief B arrives at the appointed time on his calling card. Diavolo sends MC off with his full trust before MC is allowed to roam through the building and scout. They run into Barbatos who apologizes for the late introduction and reintroduces himself. He intends to check on the coat before the appointed time of theft and excuses himself. Diavolo then rushes to MC's location and tells them that Phantom Thief B may have already taken action.

monSOLO
"A worthy opponent. How nice."

Diavolo informs MC that Barbatos's arrival was likely postponed due to Phantom Thief B's tactics, and MC relays their suspicions of their recent brief encounter with the butler. They determine the current Barbatos to be a fraud and enter the room where the coat is stored. The lights are cut, and the impersonator reveals his true identity to be the Phantom Thief B, Belphegor.

Beelzeburger
"Good thing both of them are safe."

MC begins a chase to capture the infamous Phantom Thief B. They weave throughout buildings and Belphegor attempts to lead the MC astray by lying about where he was headed next before they enter a standoff on the rooftop. Belphegor taunts MC about their previous failed arrest. He tells them about the wire he had anchored to escape to the next building. But before he can flee, the anchor detaches and MC catches Belphegor when he falls. With full-blooded determination, MC manages to pull Belphegor back onto the rooftop. MC declares his official apprehension, but once again, Belphegor easily escapes from their grasp and trades back the stolen coat for MC saving his life. Belphegor admits that although MC is a nuisance at times, he sees their encounters are entertaining, and looks forward to whenever they'd meet again next.
