Story Summary

"A valid choice."
The story opens in Satan's bedroom. Mammon thinks it's unfair that Satan gets to be the Queen of Hearts while, he, Leviathan, and MC are stuck being card soldiers. Levi tells Mammon not to be so loud because if Satan hears them complaining then he'll punish them. Mammon asks MC what they think and MC can say that they can't do anything about it, they think it's great, or that they'd rather serve Mammon. After MC answers Mammon, Satan enters and scolds the group for talking. He asks Levi if the tea is ready and Levi says that MC will bring it. As Levi's talking, MC drops and breaks Satan's favorite teacup. Everyone is horrified and then Satan declares that punishment is warranted. Levi gets upset by this but Mammon acts flippant, thinking that MC will be the one punished. However, Satan ends up punishing Mammon and Levi.

Satan says that breaking his favorite teacup is a very severe crime so Mammon and Levi will be punished in MC's place. Levi and Mammon both protest but Satan ignores them and summons Asmodeus. Asmo arrives and Satan explains that the punishment is that Mammon and Levi will both be "Asmo-fied." Neither Mammon nor Levi seem happy about this but Asmo thinks it's more of a reward and that he's thrilled about the situation. Asmo then whisks his brothers away, leaving Satan and MC alone, which Satan is happy about.

Satan asks MC if they're expecting the same punishment and assures them that they will pay for what they've done. He asks what they would have them do and tells MC that he won't subject them to Asmo because MC only serves Satan. He decides that MC will make him some tea and then they'll discuss MC's punishment. If MC chooses to just put on a quick pot and be done with it then Satan is amazed at how good the tea turned out. If MC brews the tea based on the instructions Mammon gave them then Satan says that the tea is awful. After Satan drinks his tea, he decides he wants MC to organize his bookshelves as punishment.

"That's too selfish!"
Satan tells MC that he would never subject them to any sort of awful punishment, even if they break a rule because they're his favorite. MC is then able to kiss Satan or kneel before him. If MC chooses to kneel then Satan demands they get up and says that he's tired of brainless card soldiers whose only motivation is the fear of punishment. If MC chooses to kiss Satan then Satan tells them how the Queen of Hearts can let a card become the King of Hearts if they fall in love. No matter how MC responds, they get interrupted by Asmo. Satan asks Asmo what happened to Mammon and Leviathan and Asmo says he gave them a quick course but he's saving the real fun for later. Satan decides against asking for details and Asmo says that Satan gave MC a mild punishment which annoys Satan. Asmo tells MC that they're welcome to come by his bedroom even if the Queen doesn't send them there. Satan then asks Asmo if he'd like to find out what the punishment is for getting close to MC and Asmo says he'll pass.
