Story Summary

AsmoBaby
"Did you go to the festival too..."

Belphegor asks MC if they want to hang out today. He wants to take them to an event called the Ghost Festival. It's easier to just show it to them than explain it, so Belphegor takes MC out to town. Once there, they see the streets lined with colorful candles, and a parade of ghosts wearing painted skulls. There are also orange flowers being sold called "soul flowers." Belphegor then notices some unlit candles; he explains how they're looking for people to help light them and guide the crowds. He complains about how that sounds like a hassle, which MC can either agree with him, or say that they want to volunteer. Belphegor and MC then decide to go check out the food stalls.

Beelzeburger
"Isn't this paint ticklish?"

One of the Ghost Festival's traditions is to put on neon-colored face paint. Belphegor asks MC if they want to do it, which they could decline or accept. If they accept, Belphegor and MC will sit down to have their faces painted. When choosing what patterns they want, Belphegor will mention that each pattern has its own meaning. He asks MC if they want the one that means love or friendship. If MC chooses love, they'll have a heart mark on their cheek; when that spot is kissed by the person's loved one, they'll both stay together forever. At their request, Belphegor kisses MC's heart mark. If MC chooses friendship, they'll have a star painted on their cheek, while Belphegor has one on his hand, which symbolizes that they'll be best friends for life.

Angeluke
"It's quite ominous, isn't it?"

Belphegor and MC find a skull painting workshop. He mentions that when two people exchange their skulls with each other, it'll make them both happy. MC can choose skull patterns for family, friends, or lovers; each bringing out a different response from Belphegor. They start painting their skulls, with Belphegor telling MC not to peek. While Belphegor is hard at work with his skull, MC can either tell him he has paint on his face, or that he's really getting into it. If MC tells him about the paint, they'll wipe it off for him, causing Belphegor to blush. Choosing the latter will have Belphegor say that it's fun, and he likes painting.

Mammoney
"Only natural for the Devildom."

Belphegor and MC exchange their skulls, revealing that they used the same pattern. They then decide to go watch the parade. Seeing the crowded streets, Belphegor mentions that ever since MC came to Devildom, the demons have been able to enjoy Human World culture, even trying to replicate it. MC can choose to agree or disagree with him. When the parade reaches its climax, Belphegor takes MC away to an empty spot. After MC asks him what he's doing, Belphegor tells them to wait. Suddenly, many soul flowers bloom and float into the air. Belphegor explains that this only happens on the day of the Ghost Festival. They could've seen more soul flowers near the parade, but Belphegor thought seeing this view together with MC was more important. MC will respond with either a thank you, or a kiss.
