Story Summary

"You really fit the character!"
Taking place in an alternative reality, MC is a legendary hero summoned to a village. Leviathan comes to greet them on their behalf when he sees MC's weapon, The Sword of Legend. He asks if he can hold it, which causes it to glow, signifying that Leviathan is meant to be the next hero. He denies this fact, believing it to be some kind of mistake. MC tries to convince him otherwise, however he doesn't budge. Leviathan explains he's dreamt about being a hero ever since he was a kid, but imagining something and doing it are different things. A voice then tells Leviathan that if he's been chosen, he must bear the burden.

"Satan's also a bit of a nerd."
The voice belongs to Satan, son of the village elder. He berates Leviathan for making excuses and not accepting the chance to bring peace to the world. Satan introduces himself to MC, telling them it was him who asked them to come to their village. Satan and Leviathan bicker over Leviathan being chosen, which leads to either MC or Leviathan asking to bring the conversation somewhere private. Leviathan brings them to his house, where Satan explains that a den of monsters was spotted nearby. He asks Leviathan to take up the mantle of hero and save the village with MC. Leviathan continues to tell him he can't, angering Satan to the point that he leaves. Alone with MC, he confesses that the idea of becoming a hero sounds scary.

Leviathan worries about the pressures of being a hero. MC can confess that they weren't confident when they started, which surprises him. However, hearing that makes him feel better. The Sword of Legend glows and MC asks for Levi to take it. When he does, his clothing transforms into armor. He gains confidence seeing himself in it. When he puts the sword down, his clothes return to normal. The flash of light from the sword causes Satan to barges in. Leviathan excitedly asks Satan how he should introduce himself as a hero, confusing him. Satan is unsure how things turned around so quickly, but is glad to see Leviathan motivated, asking him to help save their village.

"Everything takes practice."
While walking through town, Leviathan asks MC if the spell they cast that made the Sword of Legend invisible won't suddenly wear off. He quickly remembers he's talking to a hero, reassuring him. With the sword invisible and strapped to him, he hopes it will fool the monsters into thinking they're harmless. As they grow closer to the den, Leviathan grows nervous. MC can either have him take deep breaths, which causes him to drop the Sword of Legend, or calm him down with a hug and an optional kiss. Once he has calmed down, Leviathan goes through his and MC's plan, making up his mind to take over as the next hero.
