In the House of Lamentation, Belphegor is telling MC a story about when he went to the gourmet fair the other day with Beelzebub when MC receives a text from Solomon. Solomon tells them that he's running an errand for Diavolo and asks them if they want to accompany him to the human world and MC agrees so Belphegor says he'll finish his story later. Solomon tells MC that there's been an unusual event that requires them to visit the ocean in the human world. Solomon isn't enthused about having to go in the ocean by himself so he's happy that MC agreed to come with him.

Once they arrive at the ocean, Solomon explains that Diavolo told him to look for something unusual. A moment later, Solomon and MC notice that the water looks strange, specifically that the entire surface has a rainbow glimmer to it, although it isn't something that would be perceptible to most humans. Solomon says that the most likely explanation is that there is a rain pearl nearby and they should retrieve it before it can cause a larger effect.

"It's not tha big of a deal..."
Solomon prepares to cast a spell so they can go into the water, but then MC interrupts. Solomon realizes that they're worried about him and he assures them that he may not like the ocean, but he'll be okay. Solomon explains that the reason he dislikes the ocean is that when he was a young sorcerer, he was particularly interested in fish, so he would go to the ocean and cast all kinds of spells to do research. The problem was that his spellcasting annoyed the ocean spirits so they held him captive until he managed to undo all the magic. Afterward, they cursed him with a spell akin to a restraining order so he wouldn't come back. The spell is worn off now, so Solomon can physically be close to the ocean again, but it costs him more power to cast spells along the coast because of it. After telling MC the story, Solomon casts a water-breathing spell and a spell to keep them dry so they can go in the water. They look at the fish for a bit but then focus on looking for the rain pearl.

A fish that just swam by appeared to be carrying the rain pearl, so Solomon and MC follow it. Solomon determines that the rain pearl might have made the fish smarter and thus, they might be able to reason with it. MC and Solomon attempt to persuade the fish to drop the rain pearl, but the fish swims off without giving it up. Solomon and MC swim after it, but the fish is too fast to catch. Solomon asks what they should do and MC can suggest luring it with food or catching it with magic. Either way, they successfully retrieve the rain pearl and the fish rejoins its school. Solomon and MC swim back towards the beach and Solomon stares at MC. MC can either point out a pretty fish or acknowledge the staring. Either way, Solomon tells them that they just looked so charming standing at the bottom of the ocean and MC can either kiss him or grab his sleeve to pull him along. If they kiss him, Solomon says that they taste salty and then MC requests that they spend some more time together in the water and Solomon agrees that they should enjoy their under-the-sea date.
