Story Summary

"The charm of an old instrum..."
Satan enters the House of Lamentation, carrying a case containing a double bass. He found it on sale in a music store, and bought it since one of his favorite novels features one. Although he doesn't know how to play it, Satan is eager to learn. MC helps him carry the instrument back into his bedroom.
Lucifer
"Its an affordable option."
Once they get to his bedroom, Satan opens the case and finds that the double bass is in pristine condition. As soon as he plucks a single string, Satan starts playing the bass expertly, but he can't stop. He deduces that the reason the instrument was sold at such a low price was because it was cursed.

"I'd be so hungry I couldn't..."
While he's still playing, Satan instructs MC to look at the bass and its case for clues. When they tell him their findings, Satan points out a book that MC must bring to him. After reading it, Satan discovers that bass's original owner was a human who died before he could fulfill his dreams, and that his resentment created a curse where the victim must play the bass for twenty-seven hours.
Belphie
"If only I looked so cool."
Satan is already feeling tired from playing for two hours straight. Trying to make the experience more bearable, MC and Satan carry the bass, while he's still playing, out to the streets to perform in front of an audience. After a while, Satan garners a crowd, and the bass starts fading away. Satan reasons that maybe the bass felt satisfied an audience heard its music, and that lifted the curse. Returning to the House of Lamentation exhausted, Satan thanks MC for their help, and depending on their choice, Mammon could enter the room, saying he bought a well-made double bass at a cheap price.
