Fountain of Knowledge

The Fountain of Knowledge is first visited by MC in Lesson 11-6 of Nightbringer, and is located within the Reaper's Cave.

Satan found a guidebook in Lesson 16-2 (NB) that said the Fountain of Knowledge has existed since ancient times, and played a major role in the history of all three worlds. It is said to have been created by an ancient demon that ruled over time itself. It's said that he "accumulated too much knowledge over the course of his long life, and it brought him sadness." He then supposedly created the fountain to escape that feeling.

The book also contained a story about a sorcerer of "rare and extraordinary power" that eventually lost control of said power and caused tremendous destruction to the Human World. Because he was potentially a threat to all three worlds, a demon approached him and offered him guidance. He was then made the guardian of the Fountain of Knowledge, and was known thereafter as "the wise sorcerer."

Satan commented that he thought the sorcerer referred to was Solomon, and that the demon who helped him was Barbatos.
