"Saying whatever he likes again..."
Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and MC are taking a break from the RAD Tournament. They run into Diavolo, who looks worried about something. Diavolo explains that using magical items often comes with a cost, and the somber balls have become fixated on MC. The somber balls want to take MC back to their own world which they came from, and they will only back down if they're beaten at a game of dark baseball.

"I can't forgive that either!"
Asmodeus asks how Diavolo knows all this. Diavolo says it appeared in the rulebook, along with the names of those they wish to play against. Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Diavolo are the three names in the book, and they theorize it was part of the balls' plan rather than a coincidence. Diavolo explains that the somber balls can conjure semi-corporeal bodies that look like black fog, and the game will be a 3 on 3 match. The three agree that they won't let the somber balls take MC away, so they'll have to profess their feelings once again.

"Was that always the plan?"
Diavolo, Asmodeus, and Beelzebub realize that the somber balls have given themselves a huge advantage, because every ball they hit is a home run. Their only chance at winning is to bat perfectly as well. They decide to form a plan, in case the somber balls cheat further. MC can either volunteer normally, or offer their help while doing an impression of Barbatos. Diavolo asks MC what plan they have in mind.
Lucifer
"They picked the wrong oppo..."
All the somber balls love MC, but some are opposed to the rigged game. MC casts a spell on one of those balls, and Diavolo decides to call it "Somber MC." The three use Somber MC to bat nothing but home runs, which fly even farther than the competition. The shadowy figures either look disappointed or shocked that they lost. MC suggests playing another round, with no cheating this time. Either Asmodeus or Beelzebub makes the balls promise not to take MC away, and the balls agree. Diavolo proclaims the rematch to be the inaugural game of the "MC League."
