This story takes place in an alternate universe. Luke invites MC over to have a tea party, but it turns out that he made too many sweets. Luke then reveals that he and MC are living inside of a storybook. MC doesn't quite believe Luke, so Luke decides to prove it. He brings them a book and explains it was written a long time ago. He points out the villain of the story, a masked pirate boy. The pirate boy is Luke, and to prove it to MC, he shows them a mask. The mask is the same as the one from the story so MC starts to believe him. Luke then tells MC that they're the hero of the world.

Luke explains to MC that they're destined to become enemies because he will build an evil pirate team and MC will hunt them down. The reason Luke becomes evil in the first place is because MC, his one true best friend, ends up moving away and without them, Luke is lured down the path of evil. It is almost moving day and Luke tells MC that the tea party was his way of making one last memory with them. He wishes them well, but MC doesn't want to leave. MC and Luke plan to struggle against their fate and rewrite their story to ensure their friendship stays strong.

"This is quite worrisome."

Later that night, Luke asks MC if they're really sure about staying over that night. Luke explains to MC that he was conflicted about revealing the truth to them. If they rewrite the story, they might end up causing trouble for the rest of the characters. Whatever they decide, they'll have to live with the consequences. After they finish talking, MC and Luke go to bed. However, Luke sneaks out of the house with the mask. MC follows him and Luke tells them that he can't control the mask and ends up putting it on. Just then, Luke's demeanor changes and he threatens MC. Luke removes the mask and tells MC that the story is fighting against them and bids them farewell.

Outside a pirate ship, the seven demon brothers confront Solomon and Simeon, who are now members of Luke's evil pirate crew. As they argue, MC steps forward. Luke is excited to see them and MC is also excited to see Luke. However, they cannot just reminisce about their friendship, they must battle. During the fight, MC gains the upper hand. However, instead of defeating Luke like they're supposed to, MC strikes Luke's mask. Without the mask, Luke is free from being evil. Because they were able to change the ending, Luke asks MC if they want to be best friends again.
