Story Summary
Belphie
"Looks like Satan planned so..."
Because MC is not eating much during breakfast, Satan asks them if the food is not to their liking, but they say they're fine. Lucifer notices that it is New Year's day in the human world so Belphegor asks if there are any specific food humans eat on this day. MC mentions some, which some of the brothers know. The Devildom however does not celebrate it and it is a normal day, as Mammon explains. Satan starts to say something about New Year's but stops mid-sentence and doesn't finish.

Later, MC is out with the demon brothers, walking to school, and is still down and quiet, which Lucifer notices. Asked about it, MC admits it's about New Year's not being celebrated in any way. Asmodeus says they're cute pouting and brushes them off as it is a normal day in the Devildom and not a day off. Lucifer reprimands them that they should focus on their school work since things in the Devildom are different and demons do them their own way. Satan however has an idea and whispers to MC and invites them out in the evening.

After class, Luke, Mammon, and Belphegor banter. Beelzebub is there too. Satan attempts to leave with MC. Luke wants to know where they are heading to but Satan doesn't tell. Mammon suspects that Satan blackmailed MC to go with him and offers help. Satan is offended, but finally he and MC manage to leave to celebrate New Year's. Satan takes MC to a restaurant that offers toso - as he found in a book, drinking it to ensure long life is a custom in the East in the human world.

MC doesn't really drink but Satan explains it's a special drink without alcohol that he asked the restaurant owner for. Satan asked the owner as well to create a special New Year's menu to do a small part in bringing demons and humans together. He then gets some affection from MC (they pet, hug, or kiss him) as a reward for setting it up on such short notice. Satan notices he's feeling sleepy and ends up drunk. After Satan and MC return home, they overhear Mammon, Beelzebub, and Belphegor talking in the corridor. The three pulled a prank on Satan by convincing the restaurant owner to give Satan an alcoholic version of the toso so Satan would embarrass himself in front of MC and to teach him a lesson not to mess with them. Upon hearing this, Satan gets angry. He admits he learnt a lot from the experience - about his brothers' pettiness. The brothers then flee when MC teases Satan.
