Mammon and MC walk along Devildom Street as Mammon laments how Lucifer confiscated Goldie and left him Grimm-less for Christmas. He wonders if there's any high-paying seasonal jobs he could get when he spots a help-wanted poster for a Christmas-treat-making gig with a generous hourly pay. Mammon notices the fine print warns that applicants may run into a bit of trouble, which Mammon brushes off and decides to go for it. He promises MC to use his earnings to get them one "helluva" Christmas present, and tells them to set their hopes up real high.

MC ends up joining Mammon in working at the sweets factory, and the two get started on their task of decorating dark devil's food cakes with red-hot strawberries. At first, Mammon is thrilled with how seemingly easy their job is, before later complaining that he was falling asleep from boredom. Comparing the work to torture, Mammon vows to negotiate for better pay when he suddenly hears crying. Panicked, he asks MC if they heard the crying as well, and venture towards the fridge where the sound is coming from. Mammon sees something dash away from the fridge and chases after it, jeering at how he'll sell whatever it is for an extra bonus once he catches it. Successfully capturing the mysterious cryer, Mammon is shocked to find that it was actually a sentient gingerbread man cookie.

"Gecko curry flavor?"
Mammon asks the gingerbread man cookie why it's crying during the holiday season, to which the gingerbread man responds by miming a request for something to write with. Mammon finds a pen and some paper to give the cookie and watches it furiously write. The gingerbread cookie reveals its anguish stems from being unwanted -- because it is curry-newt flavored and the steep unpopularity of its kind in the Devildom, it worries that its fellow gingerbread cookies will be discontinued after this year and pleads for help from Mammon and MC. Doubtful of how good these cookies actually taste, the pair take a bite paired with a glass of milk and discover that they taste incredible. Mammon agrees to help, and vows to get the whole stock of curry-newt flavored gingerbread man cookies sold.

Back at the House of Lamentation, Asmodeus questions why his bathroom is filled with gingerbread cookie boxes. Mammon explains his plans to help the cookies and Asmodeus asks why he would do such a thing when he's broke. Mammon urges him to taste a cookie to see for himself, and Asmodeus is stunned to discover how delicious they are. Mammon cheerfully shares his plan to dress up as Santa and pass out samples to the denizens of the Devildom to encourage sales. After the pair pass out their samples, they return to Mammon's bedroom feeling good that they've secured enough interest to save the cookies' fate. Mammon thanks MC for their help, and gifts them a ring made from sample wrappers, promising to replace it with the real deal once he finds the perfect one. MC can thank him with a kiss, and Mammon wishes MC a merry devilish Christmas.
