Story Summary

"Get back here!"
When MC arrives at the House of Lamentation for a scheduled hangout with Leviathan and Mammon, they instead run into Lucifer in the entrance hall. He is surprised to see them there, as they weren't scheduled to be there, but he quickly brushes that fact off and asks them to meet him in his study. When MC tries to tell him they have other plans, Lucifer instead insists his plans take precedence and repeats that he will meet them in his office.

A little while later in Leviathan's bedroom, MC, Leviathan, and Mammon are playing a video game together. After a round is over, Mammon reminds MC of their meeting with Lucifer, that they notably ignored for the last hour, and asked if they should go meet him. Levi and Mammon speculate as to what was so urgent with Lucifer, mentioning seeing him in the kitchen looking sternly over some papers. They suggest that Lucifer is struggling with something, and MC is the only person he is comfortable asking for help from. They then insist MC be on their way and return to games later.

Down in Lucifer's study, MC finds Lucifer fast asleep. When he awakes, he notes their tardiness before complaining he is thirsty from his nap. After some coffee, he tells MC the reason for calling them to his study, motioning to some papers regarding the in-process academic rules and regulations for RAD. Lucifer explains some more details of the papers, and what needs to be done before MC insists that he needs rest - something he will refuse. Using the magic of their pact, MC forces him to sit.

Lucifer finds MC's method of forcing him to rest insulting, calling it cowardly and comparing it to how one would treat someone younger than them. He finally gives in, brushing it off that he was tired anyways, which after some pushing, he will admit is do to taking on a bit more than he could handle. After even more pushback regarding the forced break, Lucifer drifts back into sleep. Shortly after he starts to sleep, MC hears Leviathan and Mammon whispering at the top of the stairs. They come down surprised to find Lucifer asleep and holding MC's hand. They tease that he is so sound asleep they could draw on his face and he would likely stay asleep, but quickly change the topic to their concern over his insistence to overwork himself.
