Helene
Helene is a human witch who's trapped in a portrait in the Demon Lord's Castle, and was first introduced in Lesson 7-12 of Obey Me!'s Main Story. She is likely based on Helen of Troy, who was also known for unparalleled beauty, and also entered an affair leading to disastrous consequences.
Story[edit]
Background[edit]
According to Little D. No. 2 in Lesson 7-12 (OM), Helene was "once known far and wide as a witch of unparalleled beauty" and that "countless humans, angels, and demons alike fell under her spell." However, she was then seduced by Asmodeus, which led to her betraying her lover at the time.
Due to said betrayal, a great war erupted that destroyed and entire country. Helen's reputation was also ruined, and she was considered a "horrible, wicked woman who had sold her soul to a demon." The nephew of Helene's former lover - a sorcerer named Demetrios - then sealed her inside a painting. Helene then spent hundreds of years trapped in said painting, and blamed Asmodeus for her fate.
For reasons unknown, Helene's painting eventually ended up in the Devildom, specifically within the Demon Lord's Castle.
Main Story[edit]
During the retreat in Lesson 7, Diavolo, the brothers, MC, the angels, and Solomon were touring the Demon Lord's Castle and learning about its history. The group heard a scream, which brought everyone's attention towards Helene's portrait. Little D. No. 2 explained the story of her relationship with Asmodeus, who acted unremorseful, and even openly flirted with Helene.
As an act of revenge, Helene sucked Asmodeus, Mammon, Leviathan, Beelzebub, Solomon, and MC into her painting. This sent them to the castle's labyrinth, where Henry 1.0 resides.
