Story Summary

Lucifer
"It's time for a punishment later."

Mammon and Leviathan are on cleaning duty with MC when they decide to ditch and head home. Belphegor warns them that they'll be punished, and tells MC that Lucifer is waiting for them in the assembly hall. They can't think of anything they've done wrong, but Lucifer is in a strangely good mood.

"So, that's how you want to p..."

Lucifer invites MC to drink tea and talk. He has acquired an Apple of Truth. Despite its luster, no one would willingly eat it because it poisons those who lie before biting into it. He tells MC to eat it after telling him who they really are.

ButlerBarb
"Things sometimes don't go..."

MC gets a bit pale at having their identity questioned. Lucifer is suspicious because he feels connected to them despite not being familiar with any of the lesser demons. He asks if they are actually a demon before Beelzebub comes in to grab something. Beel eats the apple before Lucifer could stop him. He said "It looks delicious." before eating it, so he wasn't in danger of being poisoned.

LordDiavolo
"We got to see a rare side of..."

At the castle, Diavolo comments on MC giving Lucifer the silent treatment. He and Barbatos agree that MC should be angry for having sincerity tested. To apologize, he brought them to have some of Barbatos' cake. If told that someone else's efforts aren't an apology, he calls them insolent. Diavolo laughs because MC is the only one to stand up to Lucifer. Not letting Lucifer feed them will make them seem more stubborn than him. He'll lament how long it's going to take for them to forgive him. Letting him do so brings a smile to both their faces. MC can tell him to apologize himself. He will promise not to pry into their affairs because they didn't back down from the apple.
