Synopsis
Summary
In a strange, starry space MC finds Solomon who seems surprised to meet them in such a place. He speaks vaguely about their meeting there being fate and asks if they would like to use his magic compass to go on an adventure. He explains that the compass will allow them to visit many worlds, even ones they normally wouldn't be able to see. Smoke rises as he takes their hand and quickly explains the compass's mood will determine where they go.
The pair appear at a cliffside where someone is calling out for help. It is Luke about to fall over the edge of the cliff, but they save him just in time. They move into a meadow, where Luke asks them their names as if they were strangers. This Luke tells them he sells herbs and offers a special one -- called sleepbane -- to them as a reward for helping him. He tells them that the smell of the herb would keep one awake for hours.
After another puff of smoke, MC and Solomon find themselves inside a ship, face-to-face with pirate versions of Asmodeus and Lucifer who also don't seem to recognize them. MC comments on their outfits in a friendly manner, but the pirates accuse them of being hostile anyways. Alarmed, Solomon reports they have to wait a bit to use the compass again and they will have to run for it. Atop the ship, Asmodeus and Lucifer catch up and corner them, out of breath from chasing the two of them, who had been using magic to escape. Before they are captured, the compass is ready and they disappear in a cloud of smoke.
The appear in a forest, where a version of Satan with cat ears and tail -- who also seems to not know them -- calls out to them. He asks if they had seen Belphegor, describing him as having fluffy ears and tail. Satan tells them he went into the woods hours ago and if he doesn't return soon monsters that come out at night would get him. They join the search and find him fast asleep under a tree. They use the sleepbane to wake him in time to escape the forest before encountering monsters. Satan and Belphegor gift Solomon and MC some of the strawberries for their help.
Solomon happily reports that the compass seems to be in a good mood -- likely due to the good deeds -- meaning it might let them request a location next. Regardless of the request MC makes, the two of them teleport into a hot air balloon over grassy fields. They enjoy the strawberries together and discuss how nice spending time alone together is, even getting excited to see the sunset together from the balloon. Before they can though, the hot air balloon begins to crash.
Normal Ending: Solomon and MC crash-land in the ocean where pirate Asmodeus and Lucifer rescue them. MC questions the change in attitude from the pirates, but they only give vague answers, telling them they will explain when the reach their destination.
On the beach, the other versions of Luke, Satan, and Belphegor are waiting for them. Whether MC has caught on or if they are confused by the sudden familiarity from people who seemed to not know them previously, Solomon explains the situation to the group. Solomon explains that they are all inside of MC's dreams, and that everyone there wanted to give them an adventure to go on while they slept. They all go on to explain that they acted out this adventure as a way to thank MC for all that they have done to help them. They each explain their specific example, and summarize that MC is always there whenever anyone needs them.
Special Ending: In MC's bedroom at Cocytus Hall, Solomon knocks, enters, and apologizes for entering their dreams the night before. He explains that he obtained a magic pillow that allows one to enter other's dreams and accidentally entered their dream during testing. Since he was intruding on them, he wanted to make up for it by using his magic compass to make the dream as enjoyable as possible to make up for it. In addition to his apology, he offers that they could enter his dreams the next time. He explains that they would have to sleep in the same bed, but that he could control his own dream for them.
The next night in Solomon's dream, they appear on a street in the Human World. They visit a café to get drinks before taking a car ride together. He drives them to a beautiful beach near the sea, where they go for a walk along the water.
MC starts moving too quickly causing them to fall flat on their face in the sand. Solomon suggests a break before asking if they can stand on their own. If MC asks, he will either carry them or lend them his shoulder, or they can simply say yes and walk on their own. Solomon creates lounge chairs for them to relax on together and warns before they get too comfortable not to fall asleep as it might make it hard for them to leave a the dream if they do. They watch the sunset together happily and MC can choose to say thank you or kiss him thanks for the experience.
When they awake, they can either plan to go on a date in the real world or another dream date in the future.
