"They're kidding, right?!"
In MC's bedroom at the House of Lamentation, MC is met by Leviathan and Asmodeus entering the room in their butler suits. They inform MC that Lucifer, the Head of Service, temporarily assigned them as their personal butlers. Leviathan repeatedly remarks that their assignment is temporary, and when Asmodeus asks why he keeps being negative by pointing that out, Leviathan remarks that they will be removed from the position if they mess up. He goes on to tell Asmodeus and MC that in preparation for their assignment, he brought a bunch of books about butlers -- one in particular being a popular Human World romance manga.

Still in MC's bedroom, Leviathan and Asmodeus start reading the Human World butler romance manga Black de Butler. Once they finish, they both seem more confident in their ability to be a good butler. Asmodeus even remarks that with some sweet words and a charming expression it should be easy enough to keep their master happy. MC can choose to either support this conclusion or not. To test the methods from the book, they take turns reading lines outload. These lines start harmless but start to take on a rather flirty tone.

"One is as bad as the other..."
In the middle of the night while MC is sleeping, Asmodeus wakes them up. He tells them that in the manga he learned that a butler's services extend into the night as well. He continues, telling them that there is no need to feel flustered and to leave the rest to him. Before he can continue further, the light suddenly turns on and Leviathan bursts out from under MC's bed. When Asmodeus questions why he was under there, he explains that he saw it in the manga and that a butler is like a guard dog that must watch over the master at night. Asmodeus, annoyed, tells him that if he was paying attention he would know that he can't perform his butler night services from under the bed and that Leviathan should just leave and let him handle it. A small argument starts to break out between them.

After MC breaks up their argument, Leviathan tells them they are simply discussing their duties. He then tells them both that he got a pre-release issue of the manga that says butlers are also secret lovers to their masters. Leviathan then asks MC which of their butlers they would choose to have a relationship with. MC can choose either Leviathan, Asmodeus, or tell them that they do not need any night services. If they choose Leviathan, Asmodeus is shocked saying Leviathan doesn't even know which end of the side of the bed he is to perform his nightly duties. Leviathan excitedly tells them that he will cut down on his game time to devote his time to MC. If they choose Asmodeus, Leviathan quickly admits defeat and Asmodeus tells them they won't regret their decision. Regardless of the choice, a butler-fighting manga is revealed, resulting in a challenge for MC.
