Following a secondhand book fair, Satan raves over the new books he purchased to MC. Lucifer interrupts and reminds the two that their priority is to count up the book fair's profits, not discuss books. Barbatos enters the room to collect the profits, but finds that the group has yet to finish due to the large amount of books sold. Barbatos then asks Satan for his purchased books, going on to explain that he needs to ensure none of them are books the library doesn't already own, as the library intends on expanding its collection.
Lucifer
"Again a dangerous book..."
Satan asks Barbatos for the list of books the library wishes to purchase, and Barbatos happily obliges. Of the books listed, "The Dictionary of Forbidden Magic" stands out to him. When questioned by Leviathan, Lucifer explains that the book is a highly sought after collection of forbidden magic spells. Satan adds that the writers add a century's worth of new spells and items every time a new edition is released, and that the newest edition will include over 300 years worth of content. Satan begs Barbatos to lend him the older copy once it's taken out of circulation, but Barbatos refuses, given the danger of such a book. This prompts Satan to plot an alternative way to get his hands on the copy.
