Story Summary

"What a change of heart."
In the House of Lamentation, Asmodeus asks Leviathan if he's ready for the brothers' Christmas gift exchange, which Levi acknowledges absentmindedly, too engrossed in one of his mobile games. Annoyed by his older brother's lack of enthusiasm, Asmodeus tells Leviathan to go back to his room if he's so busy with his games. Leviathan agrees, saying he was planning on leaving soon anyway to avoid getting in the way as he gets up from his spot on the couch. Once Leviathan is gone, MC and Asmodeus begin decorating the Christmas tree when suddenly Leviathan bursts back into the living room, cheering loudly.

"Will there be food?"
Leviathan begins rambling excitedly about how special Christmas is, and how it should be cherished by all. Confused, Asmodeus begins to ask Leviathan about his sudden change of heart before noticing and calling out the Ruri-chan Christmas event notification that flashed across Leviathan's D.D.D. Overjoyed, Leviathan gleefully announces that yes, the Devil Aquarium will be hosting a Ruri-chan Devilish Christmas Party, causing Asmodeus to laugh and leave the room, telling Leviathan that he's happy he found something to be excited about. Leviathan turns to MC to explain how the event will have a challenge where participants will team up in pairs for a chance to win special Ruri-chan Christmas goods, and bashfully asks MC if they would like to accompany him to the party.

At the Devil Aquarium, Leviathan happily points out all the decorations and displays before finding and explaining the rules and guidelines to the event. Leviathan and MC are then assigned an aquarium mascot familiar, a jellyfish named Jules, to help them collect the runaway Christmas presents in order to win. Brimming with excitement, Leviathan tells MC that being able to spend Christmas with them like this is a dream come true.

"It's important to keep trying."
Leviathan, MC, and Jules head to the starting line. As the challenge begins, the trio are immediately crushed by the crowd, causing Leviathan to quickly grab MC and Jules and lead them to safety at the back of the room. Leviathan expresses how he's grateful that nobody was injured, but quickly begins to feel defeated by their seemingly slim odds of winning. However, MC is able to inspire Leviathan to not give up so easily, and they end up winning 1st place. To their surprise, part of the grand prize ended up being the opportunity to spend the night at the aquarium! Leviathan and MC settle down for the night, exhausted by all their running around, and Leviathan confesses that spending Christmas with MC was the best present he could have ever asked for, before wishing MC a Merry Devilish Christmas and telling them he loves them.
