"It's strange, no matter how..."
MC meets up with Belphegor in the attic. He shows them a plant he found in town. The plant was unlabeled so Belphegor isn't sure what it will be, but he guesses that it will become a flower. Just then, the dirt begins to glow and the plant starts sprouting lots of vines. MC can choose to react nonchalantly, much to Belphegor's dismay, or with concern. The vines start growing out the window, so Belphegor decides that they have to do something fast.

Belphegor and MC leave the attic and notice that the vines are everywhere now. Belphegor knows Lucifer isn't home right now, so he and MC go looking for anyone else who might be in trouble. In the common room, they find Mammon, Asmodeus, and Leviathan all asleep. None of them will wake up, so Belphegor and MC go into the kitchen to check on Beelzebub, who is eating in his sleep. In the library, they discover that Satan too is fast asleep. That's when Belphegor realizes what kind of plant it is.

"I can't even go out without..."
Belphegor texts Solomon for more information and tells MC that the plant he brought home is a sleeping briar. Once it sprouts, anyone near it falls asleep for three days. MC is human, so the curse takes longer to have an effect. Since Belphegor is always sleepy, the curse keeps him awake instead. Belphegor tries to keep MC awake, and decides that he'll bring them back to the attic.

"In reality, it was a bummer..."
Belphegor carries MC to the attic so they can sleep undisturbed. He tells them that he's not looking forward to being awake for three days, but tells MC that they can sleep. He'll wait for them to wake up, and asks if he can wake them up with a kiss. MC can ask for a goodnight kiss or allow themselves to fall asleep. If Belphegor kisses MC, the spell is broken and the plant blooms a black rose.
