Story Summary

Angeluke
"That's a strange box..."

Satan and MC go to his room to relax after his birthday party, and find a box from an unknown sender. The box is empty, save for a card that promises that the gift will grant what Satan's heart desires. At first, Satan suspects it to be a prank from Mammon, but he hasn't come back to his room yet. Satan then asks Beelzebub and Belphegor, but they claim not to know anything. Belphie advises Satan to test the box, and so Satan does. The moment he wishes for a meal, it appears, much to Beel's delight. He starts considering that the box might really not have been sent with malicious intent.

"That's what concentrating..."

Satan and MC then visit Leviathan, who advises Satan to just use the box to wish for something he really wants. Satan wishes for a book that was reviewed in a Bibliobattle, and books start flying out of the box! Satan immediately starts reading one, and gets immersed in the story so that he stops responding to Levi, but still reacts to MC. Levi, upset, kicks him out, repeating his advice that Satan should think about what wish he wants granted. MC does not follow him into the corridor, but Satan doesn't notice, as he gets distracted by Asmodeus asking to talk to him in the common room. Mammon then drops by, asking him if "something" worked.

"You're loved, Satan."

Mammon and Asmodeus try to cover for Mammon's slip, but Satan connects the dots that they indeed had something to do with the box. He demands an explanation, and Mammon nervously explains that it's just a birthday present, then runs off. Satan doesn't believe Mammon's sincerity, but Asmo reassures him that it's really just his birthday present. Satan attempts to head back to his room, where he expects MC to be, but Asmo convinces him to use the box to summon MC instead. As soon as he does, MC pops out of the box. The others explain that the box was a present they all prepared. The most work was done by Mammon — who obtained the box — and by Lucifer, who put the spell on it. Satan is genuinely happy about the gift, but still wants to take MC back to his room.

"So that box is mine?"

Satan invites MC to spend the rest of the day with him. He says that he wants to get to know them intimately, annoying Asmodeus and Leviathan. They urge him to leave with MC already, since even if they want to give them privacy, it's impossible if they're flirting in front of everyone. Beelzebub, however, wants the box to stay and pop out more food. Back in his room, MC gives Satan their present as well: a letter. Depending on choice, it can be either a thank you message, or a love letter. If it's a love letter, MC can then kiss or hug him. After that, as midnight is approaching, Satan asks MC to stay with him for the night.
