Story Summary

"Be honest, you just wanted to join."

Lucifer and MC are finishing up cleaning a mess in the RAD garden thanks to a skateboard upgrade contest. This contest, sponsored by the Three-Legged Crow Group, has caused half of RAD students to start riding around on customized skateboards. Diavolo is considering using them as transport around campus, so long as they can guarantee the safety of the user. Lucifer asks if MC has any interest in trying one, prompting him to participate in the contest with MC's help.

"Lucifer would make a great otaku."

Lucifer goes over the rules of the contest with MC. He also mentions that Mammon and Leviathan will be competing too. MC can ask about Levi or Mammon, or ask if there's any other contestants worth mentioning, which Lucifer replies with Mephistopheles. Lucifer then asks MC if they know why he joined the contest. He explains that he wants to create a skateboard that so greatly outclasses the rest that it will bring the skateboard modification craze to an end. Not wanting to become so focused on the competition, he wants MC to stop him if he gets too carried away.

"I don't think he'll give uo."

MC has a talk with Diavolo in the student council room about the contest. He promises to look out for any reckless riding so MC can focus on their task. MC returns to Lucifer and tells him what Diavolo told them. Lucifer brainstorms on how to make the modification exciting without sacrificing safety, which causes MC to suggest either making the skateboard float or make riding slowly look cool. Lucifer takes their suggestion and uses it as reference for his skateboard. After a while, MC tries getting Lucifer to take a break, however he refuses and continues working.

Mammoney
"He's just bein' sly!"

MC tries again, either suggesting or plainly stating it's time to head home. Lucifer refuses, however he snaps out of it when MC tells him they're leaving without him or reminds him he's on dinner duty. He thanks MC for stopping him and tells them he'll find time to spend together once they get home.

They go to the supermarket to buy something ready-made for dinner, getting a variety of dishes to share between everyone. Lucifer points out after a while that MC has been staring at him. MC can either respond that it was fun shopping with him, or that it feels like they're newlyweds. Lucifer then asks MC to come to his room after dinner if they're in the mood. Some time later, Lucifer finishes his skateboard. He thanks MC for their help and proposes they celebrate once they win, potentially buying more ready-made meals from the supermarket.
