Story Summary

"Surprisingly, I agree with Ma..."

Mammon talks to Simeon about how he thinks Solomon is a bad person. Simeon disagrees saying that Solomon is actually a gentle being. Then Mammon asks MC about who they think is right.

"You care about it that much?"

Simeon states that speculation will lead to nowhere. Mammon then brews a plan to get Solomon to show his true nature by tempting him with a grimoire he's been wanting to read. Simeon shows reluctance at first but gradually agrees to Mammon's idea. Mammon then puts the plan into action.

"How will Solomon react?"

Solomon arrives in the House of Lamentation's library, where Mammon and MC are waiting. Solomon immediately takes notice of the grimoire Mammon is holding. Mammon then acts according to his plan leaving Solomon with the grimoire, letting the latter know that the book must not be opened.

"That's very like him."

Mammon and MC then return to Leviathan's room — much to the latter's dismay to people using his computer and camera — where Simeon is waiting. After a while of spying, Simeon concludes that Solomon will not open the grimoire. Mammon, Simeon, and MC reunite with Solomon in the library. With Simeon expressing happiness to a seemingly confused Solomon, the latter finally leaves. Simeon inquires about the contents of the grimoire, which turns out to be a book full of information about Cerberus. Solomon and MC then walk home together, with the former subtly hinting that he knew of the plan to test him all along.
