"Stuck with no food..."
During the Dust Storm Panic Pop Quiz cross-country race, Barbatos assigns MC to supervise a section of the track named the Forest of Mystery. Barbatos worries over the racers who could become lost and run into trouble, so Barbatos asks MC to lend their assistance. In the forest, MC runs into Raphael, Satan, and Luke, who've all been transported to the same location. MC greets them, and Satan deduces that the forest will not be easy to leave. Should they fail to succeed, Satan mentions that they'll be trapped forever.

"I'd fall asleep looking for clues."
The racers slowly begin to suggest plans on how to escape the forest. Satan mentions the idea of riddles first when tying back to the forest's name. Luke offers to search for hidden riddles within the trees, as he has seen a similar circumstance happen before, yet returns empty handed and ashamed that MC had to save him multiple times from tumbling into traps. Satan then proposes a different perspective by creating their own riddles to answer, and Raphael gives a riddle for MC to answer. Raphael asks, "What walks on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three at night?" Whether MC answers correctly - the correct answer being "a human" - or incorrectly, nothing happens. Suddenly, Satan spots something.

"Satan seems to be having fun."
Satan spots a walking cactus, and Raphael isn't surprised by what could appear in the Forest of Mystery. The cactus waves at the group, and Luke walks over to talk to the cactus without fear. After conversing with the plant, Luke returns and becomes optimistic about escaping the forest with the cactus as their guide. Raphael weighs Luke's words, though Satan becomes suspicious. With MC's prompting, Satan determines the sentient plant to be a straying cactus that leads and preys on lost travelers. After Raphael defeats the cactus with a spear, the group notices their flower batons begin to wither.

"Everyone thought the same..."
Raphael observes that the Forest of Mystery also causes foreign plants to wither, and each member mentions their disappointment with their future plans ruined. Satan, Luke, and Raphael planned to create pressed flowers, flower candy, and a hair accessory by upcycling their flower batons, respectively, to give to the same recipient, MC. They all revel in the coincidence and begin to talk positively about MC. Raphael mentions how mysterious MC's influence was, and everyone is suddenly teleported outside the forest, near the finish line. The group eventually agree that it was their collective appreciation for MC that created a mysterious experience which led them out of the forest. The racers thank MC and promise to give them the presents they planned after they cross the finish line.
