Following the Poison Hunting & Candy Making! Pop Quiz, Diavolo discusses his interest in candy making to MC at RAD. Diavolo seeks implementing candy for practical purposes, and suggests using candy to mask unappetizing medicines, to which MC will wholeheartedly approve of the idea. Diavolo then invites MC to help experiment and curate candies with him, as he adds that their background with magic and candy-making would be invaluable.

In a lab classroom, Diavolo presents the first medicine to experiment with as a bitter powder medicine, and suggests using kneaded candy to disguise the taste. He tries the first prototype and recoils from the bitterness. MC can recommend adding more sugar or changing the ingredients, to which Diavolo will concur with either idea and continue on with creating many more samples. After trial and error, Diavolo presents a finished product - a candy that fully conceals the bitter taste of the powder medicine. Diavolo wonders who could be their first taste testers, and MC can either mention Mammon or Beelzebub, where either option leads to Diavolo recruiting both participants.

Diavolo and MC bring the candy samples to Mammon and Beelzebub. Unexpectedly, Mammon and Beelzebub recoil from the extreme bitterness still present within the candy, and Mammon questions as to why they weren't able to notice the sizable flavor difference. Diavolo thoughtfully concludes that his sense of taste, as well as MC's, were dulled as they were constantly trying candy samples, and Diavolo thanks the brothers for their feedback before returning to modifying the candy. As MC and Diavolo walk away, Mammon and Beelzebub discuss with guilt on how they reacted to the medicine's bitterness, and Mammon suggests checking on their progress.

Mammon and Beelzebub visit MC and Diavolo in the lab classroom trialing another method to conceal the bitter medicine. Beelzebub apologizes for reacting the way he did, and Mammon offers tasting their new candy prototype, to which Diavolo obliges. Gradually, Mammon and Beelzebub note the improvement across samples. After multiple trials, the brothers test the last candy prototype, with no trace of bitterness, before they collectively declare their efforts as a true success. To celebrate, Diavolo brings Demonus for them to enjoy together with their newly crafted candies.
