Story Summary
Mammoney
"Somethin' ain't right."
Asmodeus and MC notice in class that Satan isn't feeling well. He has no strength to shake off Asmodeus leaping to hug him and - according to Asmodeus - has also lost weight and gotten thinner. Satan admits that he hasn't had much of an appetite recently. He recalls that it started when he got a delivery from an unknown sender that Leviathan signed for him and brought to his room. There was a potted plant in the parcel, and though it was making Satan unwell, he kept it. Asmodeus decides that the mystery of the plant needs to be solved.
Belphie
"It looked fine, though."
The trio ask Solomon for help, and the sorcerer confirms that a strong spell was placed on the plant that linked it to Satan's life. If the plant wilts, Satan would die as well. Solomon cannot, however, remove the spell. Asmodeus can't believe Satan offended someone so much they'd want to kill him. He'd expect that from Mammon, but not Satan, who is in good standing with everyone. MC discovers that the feeling behind the spell is actually "love." The feeling is strong enough that it will take Satan's life if not reciprocated. Satan recollects that about a month ago, someone confessed to him, but he rejected them. Solomon states that there is another way to undo the spell.

"Well, that wasn't very effec.."
Satan discusses the cursed plant with Barbatos, Simeon, and Luke, who were curious as to why he's been carrying the potted plant around. Satan is attempting to make the flower bloom, as according to Solomon's instructions, that would lift the spell. Satan refuses Barbatos's idea of asking Lucifer for help, even if Lucifer could easily remove the spell. He would rather die than rely on Lucifer. Later, Asmodeus, Mammon, and Belphegor come to check on him and ask him about his progress. Satan kept trying to interact with the flower, looking into its leaves and speaking to it. However, Mammon and Asmodeus think it was more like glaring and close to verbal abuse. The plant still won't bloom, so Belphegor suggests that Satan treats it like he treats MC.
Lucifer
"Glad it worked out when you..."
Satan doesn't know how to treat the plant, so he asks Beelzebub and Leviathan for advice. They're surprised by how different Satan is with MC, but advise him to just act like himself. Later, Satan calls MC to his room to show them a bud that the plant sprouted. He's starting to feel better now, and thanks MC. He managed to get the plant better by pretending it was MC, and petting, hugging and kissing it. This finally makes the plant bloom, and the spell is lifted. Later, Simeon and Luke congratulate Satan on his success. Barbatos notices, however, that Satan seems down. He indeed is, due to the fact that the plant didn't grow big. Asmodeus assumes that Satan is brooding because he feels like he can give MC more love than that. Satan argues against that, and says he's just angry, not brooding.
