"I didn't think you would agr..."
When MC visited Simeon at Purgatory Hall to see him, he asked for a rain check on any hangouts as he already has plans. He was asked a favor to help with the Ghost Festival. Simeon explains a little about the festival such as how the shulls the ghosts wear all have special paint-jobs on them, and how the ghosts decorate the town as they please. There is an orange flower called the Soul Flower, and if you throw it at a ghost at the end of the festival, your wish will come true. He says he's looking forward to it. He has to light to candles along the main path so no non-ghosts will get in the way of the parade. In the end, MC gets roped into giving a helping hand.

As Simeon and MC walk to where the parade will be held they find the colored candles, surprised at the amount of them. After a bit of a pep-talk, Simeon goes to light the first candle, however, it seems the candles have a mind of their own as they avoid being lit by hiding their wicks or even running away to get away from the flame. At the halfway point, Simeon addresses the fact why it's so important to light the candles, as each candle has a ghost's wish written on them.

Simeon and MC finally finish lighting all of the candles. Now that is done, he tells them all that is left to do is lead the parade. Simeon remembers that there is a similar festival in the Human World as well, and wonders if both Ghost Festivals are related in some way, joking how the Devildom has a lot of events. Simeon spots a candle workshop where you can make candles for the festival as well and together they enter. The candles are made by combining colors with words, making different kinds of wishes. After MC makes their candles they return to the parade to finish the preparations.

"I'm growing impatient when..."
Simeon gives MC a wand to help direct the demons and ghosts. Everything goes well until the crowd around the parade becomes too great and the two get separated, Simeon yells how they'll meet up later. Thankfully after the parade is over the two reunite again and Simeon says how he caught a glimpse of the orange lights floating up into the sky. He's sad they didn't have time to enjoy it. After it ended, everything became so quiet and all the decorations the ghosts put up disappeared. With the peace, Simeon suggests lighting the candles they made together. He's still mournful about how they couldn't properly enjoy the festival, but MC reassures them they enjoyed everything regardless. He agrees yet anxiously tells MC how worried he was when he lost sight of them and feared what would happen if they ever disappeared right in front of his eyes. Yet being together now reminds him they are here by his side, and he wishes it will remain that way.
