"Well, you can't win them all."

After Solomon and Simeon finish performing their practice dance routine in front of Luke and MC, they ask if anything stood out. Luke explains how Simeon seemed to be dancing slightly off-beat. Solomon comments that the type of dancing they're doing is hard to master, especially if they're also singing at the same time. Luke exclaims that must be why Simeon's singing has been off-pitch, as normally Simeon has a great voice.

MC suggests Simeon should lessen the amount of dancing to concentrate on his singing. Simeon then says he's feeling a bit tired, and steps outside for a moment. After he leaves, Luke worries if he hurt Simeon's feelings. Solomon and MC assure him not to not feel down, as he's their producer and should point out things that aren't working. Solomon suggests MC should check how Simeon's doing.

"Don't let your guard down!"

MC finds Simeon out of breath in RAD's garden practicing his dance, but he trips and falls to the ground. He mutters to himself about how he can't do it without his singing worsening, and should accept the others' suggestions. Then he spots MC nearby. Simeon spills out how he's being a nuisance by failing to do his part properly and is holding everybody back. MC immediately refutes his claims, and he thanks them for being so kind.

However, Simeon can't help feeling torn if he should take MC's earlier suggestion or not. He doesn't want to waste time by being broody, though. MC explains that he's not burdening anyone, and Simeon remembers this is a group project, and he doesn't have to be alone. He agrees to take everyone's suggestions, and see what he can do in return.

"It appears this will be quite..."

After everybody gathers in Cocytus Hall the next day, Simeon tells them he agrees with the suggestion that parts of his dance should be left out so he can focus more on singing. Solomon and Luke state he doesn't have to go along if he's unhappy with the idea, but Simeon says he's not forcing himself to do anything. After his talk with MC, Simeon realized how important it is to work as a team. He feels he can rely on them while he focuses on his singing. He then says Luke told them the lyrics of their songs are temporary, so he requests if he can write the lyrics instead. Luke heartily agrees, as he was hoping Simeon would write them, and Solomon agrees as well. Later, MC finds Simeon in one of RAD's classes writing down some lyrics, but he says they aren't allowed to see them yet.

"I was doing my best to cheer..."

After Simeon and Solomon finish their performance, they are greeted by a round of applause. Simeon is satisfied with his voice and how successful they were because of each other. Solomon agrees, and Luke tells them the crowd wants an encore, so they go on stage once more. Later in Cocytus Hall, Simeon marvels how their live performance has been posted on DevilTube. According to Asmodeus, it's even going viral.

Simeon reads some of the comments under the video about how the audience loved the lyrics, and he admits to MC that he was thinking of them when he wrote them. Because the lyrics are for MC, he doesn't want to sing it for an audience again, and MC can kiss or hug him to show their appreciation. After they finish, Simeon tells MC they taught him many ways to love, and he hopes he can continue to express it to them.
