Beelzebub and MC are playing Super Smash Devils in the twins' room, and Leviathan wants a turn. Satan then enters the room, announcing that the pairings for the next round of the DVR solo tournament will be a three way match between him, Beel, and Lord Diavolo. Levi mentions that Diavolo has been hooked on Super Smash Devils lately, and Satan wonders how powerful Diavolo will be in virtual reality. He then asks MC to help him do some digging.

Beelzebub, Satan, and Leviathan begin reviewing videos of Lord Diavolo's past matches in Satan's room. They realize he isn't as powerful in game as he is in real life, since one's abilities in VR come from physical strength rather than one's magic power. The three come to the conclusion that they're evenly matched, and it will come down to the players' determination to win. Satan devises a plan to organize an interview for the RAD Newspaper Club about the tournament to see how serious Lord Diavolo is about winning.

At RAD, Satan and Beelzebub begin interviewing Lord Diavolo and ask about his motivation for entering the tournament. Diavolo says he just wants to have fun with everyone, but won't go easy on his opponents even though he isn't preoccupied with winning. When asked what he likes about the game, he says he enjoys being cheered for and asks who MC is rooting for in the tournament. They can choose Mammon, Barbatos, or Lucifer, making the three express their desire to be rooted for, too.

Lord Diavolo mentions that he's interested in fan merchandise that people wear for their faves, and Beelzebub and Satan agree. They each decide to create their own items for MC to wave during the game to cheer them on. Diavolo makes a hand fan, Beel makes a towel banner, and Satan makes a flag and cat paw gloves.
During the match, Simeon announces the matchup, then asks MC who they'll be rooting for. MC can choose Beel, Diavolo, or Satan, and the chosen demon will see MC waving his homemade merch and become inspired. He then uses his special attack to defeat the other two and win the game.
