"That was a real surprise."
Belphegor and MC are in RAD's courtyard. The two of them just cleaned up the mess left over from present-making, and are now relaxing in the courtyard for an afternoon nap. Belphegor mentions that it's almost Christmas in the Human World and notes that even though various places in the Human World have their own holiday traditions, Christmas is always a day people are supposed to spend with those important to them. He appears as though he is going to ask MC out, but trails off before finishing his sentence. When MC comments on this, Belphegor tells them that he thought he saw something and is curious as to what it was. He then accepts a video call from Diavolo, and Diavolo asks if Belphegor has seen anything odd. Belphegor mentions that he saw something just now and Diavolo says that they are experiencing a higher-than-normal volume of ghosts on campus at the moment.

"Beel's really sharp sometimes."
Belphegor and MC return to the House of Lamentation where they meet with the other brothers. At Diavolo's request, each of them has collected a group of ghosts, and Asmodeus comments that the ghosts are acting weird. The group determines that the ghosts are acting weird because of the upcoming Christmas, however, Mammon points out that they still don't know why there are so many of them. The group decides that maybe the ghosts want to participate in the Christmas feast. Belphegor recalls how noisy the RAD campus had gotten earlier and mentions that the ghosts probably came to investigate. Belphegor assures his brothers that he and MC will take care of the issue. They will take the ghosts back to where they belong, and Lucifer thinks he knows where they should go.

MC and Belphegor go into the woods, that are covered in snow, to find the ghost village that Lucifer told them about. They enter a cave and then the ghost village appears to them. The two look around and Belphegor comments that the ghosts probably just want to celebrate with someone. Then he finds a music box. It's playing a Christmas song from the Human World, which Belphegor enjoys. After the music box stops playing, they go back outside and notice that the village is suddenly decorated for Christmas. A ghost dressed as Santa offers them a big box or a small box. The boxes end up changing MC's and Belphegor's clothing to suit the festivities.

As Belphegor and MC move to explore the town some more, their clothes are already back to normal. Belphegor notices that some ghosts are having an ugly sweater contest. After their contest, the ghosts vanish and leave behind the winning sweater as a present. MC and Belphegor also notice that the ghosts left them the music box Belphegor was looking at earlier as well. Belphegor collects the gifts to show the others later. However, as it turns out, Diavolo liked the Christmas song so much that he decided to throw a Christmas concert, much to Belphegor's dismay. As Belphegor and MC are getting ready for their performance, Belphegor wonders aloud if anyone would really notice if they just left. However, MC does not want to leave, and with their encouragement, Belphegor agrees to perform. He also tells MC that they should listen to the music box later, just the two of them.
