Synopsis
Summary
MC is called to the Demon Lord's Castle to meet with Diavolo. MC meets Barbatos and he leads MC to Diavolo everything. Diavolo and Solomon are together and Diavolo explains that MC can't go to the House of Lamentation due to the spread of Vampiritis. Vampiritis is a disease that originates from Vampire territory and turns any creature into a Vampire. This particular strain seems to only affect fallen angels. MC is given the job of informing the brothers that they have to quarantine, to hopefully soften the blow. Solomon casts a sterilization spell on MC to protect them. Leviathan and Belphegor react positively to the request and the rest react negatively however, they obey MC's request.
Upon their return to Cocytus Hall they find that Simeon and Luke will be staying with there for the time being. Diavolo texts MC requesting they all return to the Demon Lord's Castle. He apologizes for the inconvenience and explains that the virus' appearance wasn't a coincidence, and it can be considered an attack by the Vampires. However, this variant only appeared after the brother's arrival to the Devildom so it appears it wasn't a targeted attack. In the midst of the discussion Lucifer texts saying Satan has disappeared. The group heads out to find him and he has been infected by Vampiritis. Satan turns to attack MC and they command him to Stay, but it doesn't work. Solomon lends magic to MC and they are able to stop Satan, and Barbatos puts Satan to sleep. Before they can take Satan back to the castle, Lucifer texts again informing the group that Mammon, Asmodeus, and Beelzebub had disappeared. The group return to the castle and put on Vampire Hunting uniforms that protect them from Vampires.
Normal Ending: The group is able to capture all the lost demons and confine them in barriers in the House of Lamentation. However, Solomon's barriers will only last an hour. Levi and Belphie also become infected and the group worries that if Lucifer turns they would stand no chance, so they work to find a cure. Luke is bait to distract the brothers while the others think of a solution. Solomon produces a bag of death-warmed-over-garlic and they decide to try it as a cure. They wrap it around the brothers while wearing nose plugs. It works but causes everyone but Satan to smell horrible, and the smell will last 100 days. Solomon and MC head home to find a way to rid them of the smell.
Sparkly Ending: Diavolo sends out familiars to search for the trio and Solomon, Luke and MC prepare death-warmed-over-garlic-pies. Vampires have sensitive noses so they hate this kind of garlic. Solomon insists that he make enough for everyone to try which causes Luke and MC to run away. MC runs to Diavolo, and he expresses that if the people find out about the disease, the scrutiny the brothers have experienced in the Devildom will worsen. He theorizes that this is what caused the trio to go look for Satan themselves. They hear an explosion from the kitchen and MC heads there. They find that Luke had returned to supervise and that their pies are ready along with tea that would decrease the demon's power. Simeon expresses that he hopes everything ends well so that all the work Diavolo has done for harmony between worlds won't be undone. He believes MC would be able to ground them even if they did turn. A Little D informs Diavolo that the brothers have been found, and the group heads out.
They appear fine, Mammon and Asmo shopping to their heart's content along with Beel. However, they give in to the Vampiritis. The group believes MC's scent caused them to change. Solomon refreshes his ward on MC and Barbatos teleports them all to the House of Lamentation. The group force-feeds the pies and drinks to the demons and they return back to normal. Before they can relax, they notice a large storm full of the Vampiritis pathogens is heading their way. To protect MC Mammon requests MC put them all to sleep, and they comply. Lucifer, Levi, and Belphie appear wanting to drink MC's blood. Simeon and Luke take care of Levi and Belphie, and Barbatos confronts Lucifer. Solomon, Diavolo, and MC use their magic to stop the storm, but it appears that only MC can stop it due to the mutation of the virus. The group offers MC their power while Levi, Lucifer, and Belphie do their best to hold back, and MC successfully destroys the storm.
As thanks, Diavolo invites MC to a tea party with a Vampire theme. He doesn't want MC to think badly of Vampires, so when they do think of Vampires, they can remember the joy they had with Diavolo instead of the incident with the brothers. MC returns home and Solomon compliments their performance and tells them that they smell like a Vampire. Solomon out of jealousy, wants to replace that smell with his, and MC complies. He promises that he will be the one to protect MC.
