"Should we be seeing this?!"

MC finds Solomon at the House of Lamentation dozing off in their room. They can either shake him awake or leave the room where in both circumstances, Solomon will wake up to greet them with a hint of shame. He explains that he wanted to surprise them when they returned, but he ended up sleeping instead when Asmodeus invited him to wait in their room. MC can comment that he looked comfortable while sleeping, and he confirms that it was his best nap he had in a while. Solomon tells them that he hasn't been getting any sleep recently, so he planned to invite MC to help find a solution together.

"Are there books about sleep?"

Solomon and MC travel to a distant bookstore together, and he explains that they're visiting for the curio book fair; an event that features books who "choose" their own readers. Solomon believes that a demonstration would provide a better explanation, and MC can either pick out a book with a red or black colored spine. If they pick the red book titled, Healthy Habits You Can Start Today to Cultivate Your Magical Powers then Solomon will describe the book as a practical handbook to improve as a sorcerer but advises against reading or attempting anything that was listed in the book. If they choose the black book titled A Demon's Companion, then Solomon will pass the book for MC to open after his unsuccessful attempt. The book tells about a journey of a demon and human who travel together through Devildom. Solomon finally finds the book he's been searching for and asks for MC's assistance.

"I was a black alpaca you say?"

Together, they successfully pry open the book that Solomon had been searching for, titled Demonic Methods to Deepen Connection and Build Stronger Relationships. Elated, Solomon explains that the book can only be opened between those who share deep mutual trust between each other. Whether MC chooses to deny or accept the fact of shared trust, Solomon openly cherishes their bond. MC can then pick between two more books before they return back to Purgatory Hall.

If MC chooses the book titled Zoological Fortune-Telling: Devildom Edition - a book that categorizes its readers to animals - then Solomon will comment about his animal to be a hell cockatoo, who are infamous troublemakers, while MC is categorized as a jet-black dolphin, for their friendly personality. If MC chooses the book titled Do's and Dont's in the Kitchen: The Essence of Cooking then Solomon will wonder if Simeon and Luke could open the book, unlike his failed attempt where the pages were obscured by smoke.

"You should have invited me."

When they return to Purgatory Hall, MC accompanies Solomon to prepare the bond-deepening spell. They set a few food items on the table, and then Solomon instructs MC to follow his chant. Depending on if they recite the incantation correctly, do the dishes transfigure into something different. If MC correctly remembers the chant, then the dishes will transfigure into sandwiches and sleepgrass which Solomon interprets as MC's well wishes for his health. If MC repeats the chant incorrectly, then the food items will transform into a whole roast headless dragon and devil sauce.

Whether MC incorrectly recited the incantation on purpose or not, Solomon does lightly scold and warn them of the dangers of a misread spell. After the reciting incantation, whether successful or not, Solomon plans to recite the other spells bond-deepening in the book with MC, and tells them to look forward to the occasion in the near future.
