The Ring of Wisdom and the Ring of Light are two powerful magic rings that were likely created in the Celestial Realm, given that each were originally in the possession of Michael and Lucifer respectively. The Ring of Wisdom was first mentioned in Lesson 2-2 (OM), and the Ring of Light first mentioned in Lesson 37 (OM).

Ring of Wisdom[edit]

Overview[edit]

As Solomon explained in Lesson 29-5 (OM), the Ring of Wisdom is a powerful magical ring made from brass and iron that was given to Solomon by Michael long ago. The ring grants Solomon the power to control demons, and is likely based on the Seal of Solomon, which is "the legendary signet ring attributed to the Israelite king Solomon in medieval mystical traditions."

Obey Me!'s Main Story[edit]

In Lesson 2-2, if MC asked Solomon if he really is a human, he mentioned that people tell stories about him being gifted the Ring of Wisdom from "a certain someone in a VERY high position" a long time ago, and that he used it to form pacts with 72 different demons due to being "drunk on its power." Most — if not all — of that story is true, despite his dodgy phrasing.

Later, in Lesson 29-5, Solomon went into more detail about the Ring of Wisdom. He explained to MC that the ring was given to him by Michael, and it gives him the ability to control multiple demons at once. This is a feat that Diavolo stated in Lesson 37-9 is an extremely difficult task, even for someone as powerful as Solomon is. Controlling multiple demons causes an immense strain on both a human's body and mind, but that strain is diminished somewhat with the use of the ring.

Ring of Light[edit]

Overview[edit]

According to Diavolo in Lesson 37-9 (OM), the Ring of Light is the counterpart to the Ring of Wisdom. It originally belonged to Lucifer, who lost the ring during the Great Celestial War. While an image of the ring itself is not seen in-game, a version of the Ring of Light was created by U-TREASURE and originally released for sale in 2023.

In Lesson 37-9, after having explained that MC's connection to all three worlds provided them with power that surpasses even Solomon, Diavolo stated that the only magic item in existence that could help MC control said powers was the Ring of Light. Without it, MC's immense, but unstable powers had a negative impact on the three worlds, and caused destructive phenomena. Simeon suspected that Michael had been keeping the Ring of Light safe in his possession. This turned out to be true, as he was able to take the ring and give it to MC in Lesson 38-15.
