After a student council meeting at RAD, Lucifer sighs heavily which prompts Diavolo to point out that he has seemed rather worn down recently. After MC also shows their concern, Lucifer explains that between Leviathan and a few others playing horror games and screaming all night, and Satan and Belphegor having a scuffle, he didn't get much sleep. MC can choose to either sympathize with Lucifer or comment that it sounds like the others had fun. Diavolo sympathizes with Lucifer and suggests he take some time off.

Without even a moment of consideration, Lucifer tells Diavolo that taking time off is not a possibility. MC can choose to agree that he is too busy for a break or join Diavolo in trying to sell the idea to him. Lucifer goes on to explain that he doesn't feel like he can even leave the House of Lamentation for a few hours without worrying his brothers will destroy it. Diavolo accuses him of being dramatic, but he insists that his brothers have indeed set fire to the walls in the house before. He reiterates that he does not need a break before leaving. Diavolo tells MC that there must be some way to get Lucifer to take a break.

Later at Cocytus Hall, MC is asking for advice from Solomon and Simeon on how to get Lucifer to take a break. They both say that they think it is a good idea, but not an easy thing to accomplish. Simeon confirms that Lucifer took on too much work like this even back in the Celestial Realm and Michael would tell him to take breaks as well. Since coming to the Devildom he's had to be more concerned with his brothers, and even with MC's help during the day, it's too much. Solomon suggests that the only way of getting him to take a break for himself is to force him, so they come up with a plan to do just that.

After hatching their plan, Solomon, Simeon, and MC go to the House of Lamentation to confront Lucifer. They have Beelzebub hold Lucifer in the entrance hall until Simeon has completed packing a suitcase for Lucifer. When he is surprised to see his suitcase, Simeon explains that it contains some of his clothes, a pack of cards, and his swim trunks. Once Solomon confirms the preparations are complete, Diavolo arrives to explain that they are sending Lucifer on a compulsory vacation, but that he will be joining him so that he won't have to go alone. Before Lucifer can argue much more, Solomon magically teleports the pair away. Solomon receives a threatening text shortly after that has those left behind nervous for his return. Simeon even asks if he can stay at Cocytus Hall for a little while.
