When the player first logs into Nightbringer during their birthday, they will be greeted by this message:

Fear not, for this meeting has been called so that everyone can take part in celebrating the player's birthday! This celebration begins at the stroke of midnight (local time), lasts for the following 24 hours, and includes many birthday rewards! The details of these rewards are below.

Birthday Nightmare[edit]

This special birthday nightmare summons cards from the Chapter A nightmare with one key difference: a x10 summon includes a guaranteed UR demon card!

Players are only allowed one x10 summon from this nightmare, and it does still cost the standard 10 demon vouchers or 270 devil points.

A short birthday movie in which the demon brothers wish the player a happy birthday.

Devil's Tree SPECIAL[edit]

"Unlock spaces in Devil's Tree for only half the cost."
The Grimm cost for leveling up cards is also halved!
Unlocking a card's Max Level Cap - while not advertised - costs 0 Grimm!

*Note that for Devil's Tree spaces, leveling up, and max cap increasing, only the Grimm cost is halved; item requirements remain the same.

Grimm cost for combining card pieces remains the same.

Surprise Guest SPECIAL[edit]

"You will get exclusive reactions from your Surprise Guest!"
- Surprise Guests will all have exclusive birthday dialogues.
- Any touch interactions with surprise guests will result in big hearts.
  - Gifted items will still result in the standard reactions, though the dialogue for non-heart reactions will always be positive.
"You can receive exclusive presents from the demon brothers!"
- It is possible once only during a surprise guest interaction — typically the very first interaction of the day — that the player will be gifted with 30 Devil Points. (Note that receiving said present is not guaranteed.)
- Gifts received from Surprise Guest interactions can occur after a battle or from a Home Screen interaction.
  - During the player's birthday, it is also possible to receive one of the standard Surprise Guest presents from a Home Screen interaction.

Birthday Calls[edit]

Throughout the day, all of the main and side characters will call the player to wish them a happy birthday.
- First birthday call order:
  - Raphael, Barbatos, Simeon, Leviathan, Mephistopheles, Luke, Beelzebub, Diavolo, Belphegor, Asmodeus, Mammon, Lucifer, Thirteen, Satan, Solomon
- Second birthday call order:
  - Mammon, Diavolo, Beelzebub, Thirteen, Lucifer, Leviathan, Asmodeus, Luke, Simeon, Raphael, Satan, Barbatos, Mephistopheles, Belphegor, Solomon

Lucifer wishes MC a happy birthday, and tells them for the past month his brothers have been waking up early to work on preparing their surprise party. He thinks MC has changed his brothers for the better, thanks them for remaining their attendant, and says he trusts them now.
